Welcome to my class! This is my 16th year teaching in Cabarrus County and my second at Harris Road. I have taught ELA in elementary and middle school for the majority of my teaching.
I am from Atlanta, but have lived in Charlotte since 1995.  I currently live in Harrisburg with my husband. We have two daughters who attended CCS schools (Harrisburg, CC Griffin, HiRMS, and HRHS). Lanie got married in 2020 and lives in Boston recruiting for a consulting company. Mallory got married in August and is an ER nurse at Atrium University. Both girls went to UNC Chapel Hill, but my husband and I went to UGA. I enjoy playing tennis, crafting, reading and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs!
