Welcome to the 8th Grade Justice Team!

Hello!  I am excited to begin my first year here at HRMS!

In 2005, I received my degree in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math and Science from UNC Charlotte.  Over the past 17 years, I have taught middle school Biotechnology and Math, elementary Math RTI, and private tutored elementary through high school Math students.  This will be my 4th year as a full-time classroom teacher.  I am thrilled to switch gears and make a return to the classroom!

My husband and I have two teenagers.  Ryan is a freshman at Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College and Cali is an 8th grader here at HRMS.  We have a Cavapoo pup named Oliver and two Russian Blue kitties named CJ and Theo.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family, hiking, playing pickleball, listening to podcasts/audiobooks, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
