Miss McKenna Black

Welcome to my class!  My name is McKenna Black and this will be my first year at Harris Road Middle School!  I am very excited to be teaching 8th grade ELA and Social Studies this year on the Justice Team!  I have recently moved to North Carolina from Ohio, where I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Middle Childhood Education focusing on ELA and Social Studies.  I am a born and raised Ohioan with a love for the Buckeyes and Bengals.

Some things about me are that I love to spend time with my family, friends, travel, read, be outdoors, play volleyball, eat ice cream and spend time with my pup, Chevy!
