Mrs. Erica Stevenson-Jordan

Career Expeireince:  

This is my 19th year teaching, with experience in grades, Pre-Kindergarten-11th within Guilford, Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County School Systems. I also have 8 years of direct experience working in the Mental Health Field with children, adolescents and adults/parents.  

This marks my twelfth year teaching at Cox Mill Elementary and seventh year as one of the 5th grade teachers. I have served as the Lead Teacher for third grade and Chair for our School Improvement Team.  I earned the Gifted Learners Educational Endorsement, and served as a coach for Global Educators. I believe that all students are capable of learning and growing.  I strive to reach each student at their level and method of learning.

      Family:  My husband and I have three wonderful sons ages 20, 16 and 9. They keep us busy with church youth group activities, community projects, a variety of sports and college in Wyoming.

Fun Times:  I enjoy spending quality time with my family, bowling, going to the movies, sporting events and theme parks.  We love the beach, rafting in the mountains and horseback riding. Besides teaching and working with children, I also have a passion for singing and educating individuals regarding their real estate wonders and needs.  I sing at church, and with a cover band and an active NC Realtor.
