Miss Freeman

Hello! It’s so nice to meet you all! My name is Abigail Freeman and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year. This will be my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten. I graduated from UNC Charlotte in May of 2020 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Children’s Literature & Childhood Studies. I student taught 1^st grade at W.R. Odell Primary from August 2019 to May 2020. During this time, I acquired a unique experience with transitioning from in-person to virtual teaching. 

A little bit about me, I was born here in Concord, NC. I’ve lived in Concord my whole life, and attended Cabarrus County Schools while growing up. I have two younger sisters, one in 10^thgrade and one in 4th grade. I have a total of 8 pets, that I’m sure you’ll hear a lot about as the year progresses. My hobbies include horseback riding, reading, and walking my dogs. I love all things Disney and Peanuts related. I am so excited to begin this school year!
