Mrs. Kyra Ballentine

Hello! My name is Kyra Ballentine. I am from Bremen, Germany. After five months doing volunteer work in Botswana I completed my B.A. and M.Ed. in Elementary Education at the University of Bremen. After teaching a short while in Bremen, I moved to the United States and taught 3rd grade in Fayetteville, NC. In 2020 I moved to the Charlotte area with my husband, Dustin, and began teaching at Cox Mill. I am looking forward to starting my third year here and I am very excited to get to know you and your child.

I am an avid dancer, and I danced various forms for 15 years back in Germany. I also enjoy traveling, riding bikes, relaxing at the beach and in the mountains, and spending time with my family and friends.
