Tammy Trice

Hi! Welcome to 3rd grade!

About Me: My name is Tammy Trice. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Charlotte 18 years ago with my husband Brian. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. I received National Board Certification in 2007 and my Master’s degree from Montreat College in 2009. My teaching experiences have been in Mississippi and North Carolina in 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grades. I was also a Math Coach in Charlotte for 5 years.  This is my fifth year at Cox Mill Elementary.

I live in Mooresville and enjoy reading, camping, exercising and cooking. I am a football fan who loves the New Orleans Saints and the Auburn Tigers. I’m REALLY excited to get to learn all about you...the Class of 2032!

About Our Classroom: In our classroom, we learn using a growth mindset where we believe we WILL learn, grow and change. We thrive on challenges and look at failures as a way to learn new strategies for success. We know that hard work will help us accomplish all of the goals we set for ourselves. I have high expectations for all of my students and hope they will learn to expect great things from themselves.
