Miss Leah Craig
My name is Leah Elizabeth Craig, and I am so excited to be part of the Cox Mill Elementary family. I graduated from Miami University of Ohio in May of 2018 with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and this will be my fifth year of teaching. I have taught third grade for one year and kindergarten for four. I grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio, and have been living in North Carolina for about 4 and a half years. I recently moved to Belmont, NC, and absolutely love it!
I love to travel and be in nature! I studied abroad in Rome and Florence, Italy, where I learned about art, culture, and history. I have also been to Iceland where I backpacked around the border for two and a half weeks staying in a small tent! I have been quite a few other places but, this is just the beginning of my journeys.
I am looking forward to an exciting, fun, and successful year at Cox Mill Elementary!
