Dr. Katrina Bankins, CCC-SLP

Greetings!

My name is Dr. Bankins (or Dr. "B" as many of my Pre-K kiddos affectionately call me), and I am a speech-language pathologist entering my third year at Cox Mill Elementary School! I am so excited and honored to be working with the students and staff at this amazing school!

I am in my 25th year as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in servicing elementary, middle and high school students. I am also an online Adjunct Professor for two Graduate School University Programs providing educational instruction to future SLPs. What can I say.... I enjoy working and teaching in our field:)

I received my Bachelor’s and Master's Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University (Hampton, VA). I completed my Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Howard University (Washington, DC).

I am a native South Carolinian. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, reading, relaxing and connecting with friends.
