This is going to be another fantastic school year! I am very excited to have the privilege of teaching your child in second grade this year.  I absolutely love my job and look forward to spending each year with a new group of students. Prior to earning my Graduate Certificate in Teaching, I worked for an Environmental Planning Firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We relocated to Naples, Florida where I began pursuing my teaching career. I have been at Cox Mill since 2007 and taught in many different classroom environments. I enjoyed many wonderful years teaching first grade and I’m excited for my fourth year teaching second grade. My husband and I have two sons who both graduated from UNCC. Max has his Masters in Civil Engineering, and Jack earned his Business Degree in Finance and Analytics. They both have fantastic jobs here in the Charlotte area, and are enjoying life as young adults. As a family we enjoy boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, and surfing, really anything on the water. We like to travel to see family, and our new family activity is time spent at Charlotte FC games.
