For student safety, all 4J schools are closed due to snow and hazardous road conditions on Wednesday, January 4.
Afternoon and evening activities, such as concerts and athletic practices, and other organizations’ use of school buildings also have been canceled.
Many 4J staff report to work on days when schools are closed due to hazardous weather. Most offices are open.
The district expects to make up the instruction time lost when schools are closed due to weather, including make-up days added at the end of the school year.
