In October the Eugene School District issued a request for proposals (RFP) to purchase, lease, or trade for the Civic Stadium properties. December 3 was the deadline for proposals.
Four proposals were received by the deadline. They were submitted by:
- City of Eugene
- Eugene Family YMCA with development partner Anslow & DeGeneault and Rick Duncan
- Powell Development / Fred Meyer
- Save Civic Stadium dba Friends of Civic Stadium
The school board will evaluate proposals and potentially interview the proposers in January 2014. A decision is expected in February 2014. There will be opportunities for public input.
