Schools and offices closed, activities canceled due to weather
All 4J schools and offices are closed on Friday, Dec. 6, due to extreme weather conditions. Only designated emergency staff report. (Students already were scheduled to be out of school for a staff inservice day.)
All 4J athletics and activities have been canceled for Friday, Dec. 6 through Sunday, Dec. 8. Cancelations include all athletic games and practices and all field trips.
The SAT exams on Saturday morning have been canceled. The test at Churchill is rescheduled to Jan. 11. The test at Sheldon is rescheduled to Dec. 21.
All non-4J use of school buildings also has been canceled on Friday and the weekend.
