Ms. Yan

Hi, I am Ms. YAN! It's a great luck and destiny to put me and your kid together in this year, and I am so happy to accompany them to grow up and learn at their 2nd Grade!

I got my English Language Arts Master’s Degree in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and majored in Education for my Bachelor’s Degree. Also, I’ve been to UCO in Oklahoma to exchange for 1 year in 2010. I’ve been teaching students ranging from 3 to 17 for 6 years, and all my family members are teachers in China. I’ve been in love with this career since long time ago. I see children as one of the purest creatures in this world, and I always insist on educating them with LOVE, PATIENCE, TRUST and EMPATHY. 

I met my husband in my first job when we both were teaching high school kids, and he’s currently studying for his Math PhD program in UNCC. We love to look for tasty foods and restaurants around when we have time, and sometimes we just enjoy reading, studying or watching a movie at home.
