4J earns Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 32nd consecutive year
Eugene School District 4J has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the year ended June 30, 2018.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a public organization and its management.
Eugene School District 4J’s financial reporting has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive spirit of transparency and full disclosure.
The district’s strategic goals include a commitment to transparent, accountable financial management. The district undertakes an independent audit each year and includes the auditors’ findings in the annual financial report.
This is the 32nd consecutive year that Eugene School District 4J has received this prestigious award.
