You’re invited! Please join us to help celebrate the opening of two new school buildings: Arts & Technology Academy and River Road/El Camino del Río Elementary School.
We couldn’t have done it without you! Four years ago, our community came together and voted overwhelmingly to support our public schools. The successful 2013 bond measure provided funding for Eugene School District 4J to replace four deteriorating and inefficient school buildings, improve some other facilities, and update education materials to improve teaching and learning.
Two new school buildings opened last year—Roosevelt Middle School and Howard Elementary School. This fall, we’re celebrating the opening of the new River Road/El Camino de Río Elementary School and Arts & Technology Academy buildings.
Students have started the school year in these newly built light-filled, energy-efficient, state-of-the-art learning centers. Now it’s time to showcase the school buildings and say thank you to the voters, community members and neighbors who made all this possible.
