Fox Hollow Site to Host Three Programs

New life is coming to the Fox Hollow campus. After spending a year dark and vacant, the former elementary school building is getting the final touches before opening its doors with new occupants. Beginning in fall 2016, the Fox Hollow campus will be the site of three programs:

  • Comprehensive Services Program (CPS), a special education program serving students in grades K–5 and 6–8. The Comprehensive Services Program will be operated by Lane Education Service District (Lane ESD) and will serve students from all Lane County school districts.
  • Home Instruction, providing individualized or small group instruction for students K–21. Home Instruction was previously located at the 4J Education Center.
  • Instructional Program, an alternative education classroom serving 4J and Bethel students in grades 6–8. This program was previously located at the Bailey Hill site and called Bailey Hill Instructional Program.

Co-locating the programs at Fox Hollow allows for shared support services, student access to on-site wrap-around services guided by Direction Service, and on-site oversight by a full-time administrator provided by Lane ESD.

The Fox Hollow campus is located at 5055 Mahalo Drive, near Fox Hollow Road in southeast Eugene.
