Design Takes Shape at Arts & Technology Academy

Neighborhood middle school will be renovated and reconstructed using bond funds

Families, neighbors, and community members are invited to a public meeting on December 9 about the renovation and reconstruction of the Arts & Technology Academy school building at 1650 W. 22nd Ave. The building will soon be significantly renovated, thanks to voters’ approval of the 2013 school bond measure. The building formerly housed Jefferson Middle School.

Tuesday, December 9, 5:30–7 p.m.
Arts & Technology Academy, 1650 W. 22nd Ave., in the cafeteria

5:30 p.m. Open house begins
6:00 p.m. Presentation and discussion
7:00 p.m. Wrap up

Meeting participants will get an update on design progress, ask comments and share comments, and visit with the architects and other design team members.

Community members’ input will help the school district invest wisely to make this the best school facility it can be.
