Next To New: Designing the Reconstruction / Renovation of Arts & Technology Academy

Community input sought at public meeting

Arts & Technology Academy will soon be significantly renovated, thanks to voters’ approval of the 2013 school bond measure.

Families and community members are invited to join us on September 30 for a public meeting about designing the renovation and reconstruction of the Jefferson school building, which houses Arts & Technology Academy middle school and the Family School K–8 program.

We’ll also share information about Arts & Technology Academy’s innovative new STEM immersion program integrating science, technology, engineering, math and the arts, and how it may be reflected in the design and layout of the building.

Get a look at the initial design concepts. Share your comments and ask questions. Visit with the architects and other design team members. Your input will help us invest wisely to make this the best school facility it can be.
