Furlough days cut costs to balance budget
The Eugene School District will be closed for Thanksgiving week, Nov. 25–29.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are unpaid furlough days for all teachers, administrators and staff. On furlough days employees do not come to work and are not paid. These days help reduce the school district’s budget while retaining staff.
School resumes on Monday, Dec. 2. We wish you a happy Thanksgiving!
