Ms. Millie Chang

你们好，我是张老师 (zhāng lǎo shī). I teach Chinese language and social studies for the Mandarin Immersion program. This is my third year teaching and my second year at Harris Road!

A little bit about me:

♥I am a foodie. I love and am always open to new things. 

♥I was born in Taiwan. I attended elementary and middle school in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, then I moved to North Carolina. I'd say I adopted both eastern and western cultures well ;)

♥I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UNCG and my master's degree in Educational Leadership at UNCC.

♥My favorite color is coral. I always need to stop myself from buying coral-colored items that I don't need.

♥Having students learn social studies in their second or third language successfully is one of the most rewarding things!
