Mr. Michael Gallagher

Hello.  My name is Michael Gallagher.  This will be my 15th year teaching Math.  I have taught in West Virginia(High School), Virginia(Middle School), and currently in North Carolina at Harris Road Middle School.

I have been married for 14 years to a beautiful lady, Lisa Sue, who works at another middle school.  She teaches Language Arts in 8th grade.  We moved to North Carolina 12 years ago, and couldn't be happier.  We have a beautiful, 5-year old baby boy, Connor Finnegan.   He completes us in every way imaginable.  We have a 12 year old yellow lab named Ava.  She is still full of energy and keeps us on our toes.  In our spare time, Lisa and I enjoy spending time at the beach and cheering for our favorite sports teams.  During the college football season, we are cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and West Virginia Mountaineers!  On Sunday's you will find us cheering on the Steelers!  

THE BEST WAY TO KEEP UP WITH YOUR SON/DAUGHTER's work is to check their CANVAS PAGE DAILY!  They will have access to all information there.  ALSO, please sign up for POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL.  This is where you will be able to keep up with any and all of your child's grades.

I very much enjoy teaching.  I put everything I have into the students, and truly believe that ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN.  I love when parents and families get involved, and welcome all opportunities to speak with, and meet the families.  If you ever need anything, please feel free to contact me and we will talk ASAP.
