I am teaching a Science class 2nd period and an ELA class 5th period.  Students will receive homework, classwork, and test grades.  The majority of grades will be based on a 100 point scale for both classes. 

 

Your student should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes a night.  They will have nightly questions to answer about their reading.  There will be times when they are allowed to choose what they read and times when I will assign reading.  We will visit the library every three weeks for book check-out.  We will also visit the library at various times throughout the year for research and other lessons as needed.
