Ms. Duty

I started teaching in North Carolina in 1997 for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.  I came to Cabarrus County in 1999, teaching for three years at Northwest Cabarrus Middle School.  I am very proud to say that I am a founding member of Harris Road Middle School.  The 2022-23 school year will be my 26th year of teaching.  Although I have lived in North Carolina for half my life, I grew up in south Florida.  I spent many summers camping all over Florida and camping, boating, fishing, and exploring nature.  I love animals and have a house full:  thirteen cats!  I also spend time supporting animal rescues through a variety of ways.
