I'm not only excited to be your teacher, but I am thrilled to be once again a Charger.
I grew up in Concord and absolutely love where we get to live. After high school, I went to Meredith College in Raleigh to study Mass Communication (BA '09). I also spent one semester studying "abroad" at NYU. Prior to teaching at CMHS, I spent a year as the testing coordinator at CMHS (2019-2020) and taught Broadcasting, English 2, and Yearbook at Jay M Robinson High School. Before moving to Cabarrus County Schools in 2019, I taught ELA at private school in Concord for 6 years and also taught at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics before that.
Personally, I love to travel, read great books, drink coffee, take photos, volunteer at my church, and hang out with family and friends. I'm always looking for new Netflix recommendations and new places to eat!
I can't wait to see you in class and maybe even on the announcements.
