Ms. Elizabeth King
This is my 2nd year at Cox Mill High School and in CTE. I have 10 years experience in education, 9 of which were spent teaching Math at Harris Road Middle School. Since joining CTE here at Cox Mill, I have taught Business Management I, Adobe Visual Design, and Intro to Computer Science.
Before joining the world of education, I spent several years in the Financial Industry as an Accountant and Financial Analyst. During that time, I attended UNC Greensboro and obtained my MBA. I also spent time as a Training Specialist creating training documentation and facilitating training classes at various DirecTv sites in California and Colorado. In addition to my time spent in the corporate world, I have been the co-owner of several profitable small businesses. I look forward to bringing my corporate background and business education into the classroom.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, watching the Carolina Panthers & Carolina Hurricanes, exercising, reading and traveling.
