About Me 

I'm excited about beginning my 2nd year working in Cabarrus County Schools and CMHS. I love being part of the Charger Nation and having the opportunity to work with your children!

This is my 19th year in the classroom (HOW does time fly so quickly?!).  I've spent my entire career in NC public schools, teaching middle school through community college, covering Art courses, ESL, and virtual labs. Also, you may find me on the roads of Rowan County driving a big, yellow bus delivering students to & from school.

Originally from upstate NY (Utica area), I completed my Associate's Degree through Munson Williams Proctor Institute and Mohawk Valley Community College. I transferred to Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, PA to complete my Bachelors in 2D Fine Art and Art Education. A career opportunity brought me to North Carolina back in '04 and here I've remained ever since! 

In addition to my undergrad coursework, I worked on my master's degree @ UNCP and have earned and maintained National Boards Certification since 2010.
