Mrs. Heather Schoch

Hello, my name is Heather Schoch and this is my 1st year teaching Health & Physical Education here at Cox Mill High School. I was previously at Cox Mill in the 2020-2021 school year working as the Yes Center Coordinator. I also formerly taught Health/PE in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools for 5 years.

I am originally from Clinton, MI, where I attended Eastern Michigan University on a volleyball scholarship. I received my bachelors degree in Social Work and then went onto receive my masters' degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration from Concordia University-Irvine. In addition to my teaching duties here at CMHS, I am also the head varsity volleyball coach. Currently, I live in Misenheimer, NC with my husband, Pete and family. I love to spend time with my family, lace up my running shoes, and participate in most any physical activity. The Schoch family are diehard University of Michigan fans...Go Blue!!
