Mrs. Laurie Blocker

I am excited to have you in my classroom!!!
 
I have lived in Cabarrus County for the majority of my life and I graduated from Central Cabarrus High School (not going to tell you when :)  )  For the past 17 years I have been a teacher in Cabarrus County and I have had the pleasure of being at Cox Mill High School from the very first day that it opened.  
 
I attended North Carolina State University and earned a BS Degree in Textile Chemistry which I followed up with MS Degree in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University.  After graduation I worked as a youth development professional before following my first love to a career in teaching.

Canvas - Parent Observer Status

  • Mrs. Blocker uses Canvas for all of her homework, notes, assignments and tests.  Parents can create an observer account that is linked to their student's account so they can see assignment due dates, announcements, and other course content.  If you are interested in creating a Parent-Observer account so you can see your child's progress please follow the instructions in the file below.
