Welcome to 7th grade Advanced English!

Mrs. Garrett grew up in Tuscaloosa and attended The University of Alabama where she graduated with a degree in Secondary Education Language Arts.  She taught for a semester in Tuscaloosa at Northridge High School before moving to Birmingham in 2004. After teaching 7th and 8th grade English at Pizitz Middle School in Vestavia Hills for ten years, she made the move to MBJH the summer of 2014.
