Welcome to 9th Grade English!

This is Mrs. Finch's nineteenth year teaching English and her ninth year at Mountain Brook Junior High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English from The University of the South, Sewanee. She continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she completed a Master's degree in Secondary Education. 

During the 2023-2024 school year, Mrs. Finch will be teaching Advanced and College-Prep English 9, sponsoring Spartan Council, and serving as the lead teacher for the English department.
