Mr. Phillips has been teaching at MBJH since 1998. He teaches Physical Education and coaches Cross Country, Basketball, and Track. He is married to Shanna and has three kids, Emma Grace, Bennett, and Graham. He has a B.S. in Physical Education and B.A. In Journalism from Samford University 1997, and Masters Degree from Montevallo University in 2000. He is also a National Board Certified teacher since 2005.

He loves all things outdoors especially Hunting and Fishing.
