Mrs. Caitlin Aldridge

Mrs. Caitlin Aldridge is the Choir and Theatre Director at Mountain Brook Jr. High and is beginning her 9th year in the classroom. Mrs. Aldridge is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, where she received her Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music Education from Western Kentucky University. (Go Hilltoppers!) During her time at WKU, she performed in several musicals and operas, and helped to direct and choreograph local high school theatre productions. Awards received at WKU include Music Department scholarships, Female Performer of the Semester, Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society, and Outstanding Graduate Student in the Music Department.

Before moving to Alabama, Mrs. Aldridge was the Choral Director at South Warren High School in Bowling Green, KY. Her favorite thing about teaching music is the community and friendship that can be formed within a group of musicians. Mrs. Aldridge has a passion for theatre and performing arts, and loves directing the spring musical each year!

Mrs. Aldridge lives in Birmingham with her husband, Mason, who is a worship pastor at a local church. They are excited about welcoming their new baby girl, born in summer of 2023. Outside of school, Mrs. Aldridge enjoys cooking, running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
