Welcome to Modern World History! I am so excited to begin my fourth year teaching 9th grade at MBJH. I graduated from Mountain Brook and went on to attend Furman University where I majored in History. Following graduation, I accepted a job at Homewood Middle School, where I taught 7th grade Geography and Civics. During my time at Homewood, I also completed my masters in Secondary Social Studies at Samford University. 

I am married to Mark Rector, a MB graduate as well, and we have three children, Joshua, Evelyn, and Whit.
