Madison Gunter is currently in her tenth year teaching in the math classroom.  A native of the Birmingham area, Madison graduated from Oak Mountain High School before majoring in Secondary Mathematics Education at the University of Alabama. She then received her Masters of Education from Samford University in 2018. She worked for Berry Middle School and taught Math 8 and Algebra 1 for seven years before coming to Mountain Brook Junior High. 

Madison’s favorite thing about teaching math is the ability to help a student become confident in solving problems. The confidence gained through math class can be applied to everyday life and all types of situations that students will face!

Madison is married to Hayden. They have 2 little boys, Pearse and Parker. We enjoy going to the beach together and spending time outdoors together.
