The Mountain Brook Junior High Career Tech Department uses the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum.

PLTW provides a comprehensive approach to STEM Education. Through activities, projects, and problem-based curriculum, PLTW gives students a chance to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning.

When students understand how STEM education is relevant to their lives and future careers, they get excited. Invoking excitement is what PLTW does on a regular basis and the reason our students are successful.
