CPM Geometry – Chapter 9

Solids and Constructions
In this chapter, students focus on three-dimensional solids, and how to construct geometric figures and  find relationships using a variety of tools. The themes are solids and constructions.  During this chapter:

  • Students study solids, including polyhedra and cylinders.
  • Students will review surface area, volume parallel lines congruence, and reflections.
  • Students will use constructions to deepen their understanding of earlier concepts including circle properties and properties of quadrilaterals.
