CPM Geometry – Chapter 4

Trigonometry and Probability
 In this chapter, students use slope triangles and similar triangles to learn about the the relationship between the angles and side lengths of a right triangle. The themes are trigonometry and probability. During this chapter:

  • Students will develop sin, cos, and tan using slope triangles and similar triangles.
  • Students will extend their understanding of probability including unions and intersections of a sample space.
