CPM Geometry – Chapter 12

Conics and Closure
In this chapter, students  are introduced to the connections between algebra and geometry through the study of two conic sections: the circle and the parabola.  The themes of the chapter are conics and problem solving.  During this chapter:

  • Students will learn about parabola’s including focus and directrix.
  • Students will be required to connect different strands of knowledge in order to solve complex problems.
