CPM Algebra 2 – Chapter 5

Inverses and Logarithms
In this chapter, students will be introduced to the concept of inverse relations.  The themes are using inverses to solve logarithms.   During this chapter:

  • Students learn that reversing, or working backward to undo the action of a function, can create a new function.
  • Students learn that the inverse of an exponential function is a logarithm and investigate the family of logarithmic functions.
