Linear Relationships

In this chapter, students will build on their study of linear functions. The major theme of this chapter is linear relationships. During this chapter students:
- Will be able to convert readily between the multiple representations, indicating the starting value ( y-intercept) and growth( slope) in each representation.
- Alternate between y = mx + b notation and function notation to write the equation of a line.
- Extend their knowledge of slopes to understand that it is a rate of change in real-life situations.
