Fractions and Integer Addition

In this chapter, students begin to work with integers. The themes are fractions and integer addition. During this chapter students:
- Use linear models to find the sum of positive and negative numbers (integers) as well as multiplication (repeated addition).
- Work with signed rational numbers ( fractions).
- Work with coordinate graphs including plotting integer, fractional, and decimal coordinates.
