Free Meals for Kids—Now at More Sites

4J has added more locations for free student meals, to offer greater access and convenience

Eugene School District 4J has more than doubled the locations where families can pick up free breakfast and lunch during the extended school closure. Families can choose the location that is most convenient for them, regardless of where they live or attend school.

Free grab-and-go meals are now available on weekdays at numerous locations to all students and youth 18 and younger. There is no income requirement or need to qualify. Students do not need to be present to receive a meal.

Please keep in mind that social distancing rules must be observed at all times. Staff, students and families picking up meals must maintain at least 6 feet of distance from any person who is not a member of their immediate household.

  • Chávez Elementary School, 1510 W. 14th Ave.
  • Kennedy Middle School, 2200 Bailey Hill Rd.
  • McCornack Elementary School, 1968 Brittany St.
  • Acorn Park (12:15–1 p.m.), corner of Buck Street and West 15th Ave.

North Eugene Region

  • Awbrey Park Elementary School, 158 Spring Creek Dr.
  • Howard Elementary School, 700 Howard Ave.
  • North Eugene High School, 200 Silver Lane

Sheldon Region

  • Gilham Elementary School (only MWF, 12–1 p.m.), 3307 Honeywood St.

South Eugene Region

Comidas gratis para niños ahora en más sitios

El 4J agregó más ubicaciones para comidas gratuitas para estudiantes, para ofrecer un mayor acceso y conveniencia

El Distrito Escolar de Eugene 4J ha duplicado a más del doble las ubicaciones donde las familias pueden recoger desayunos y almuerzos gratis durante el cierre prolongado de las escuelas. Las familias pueden elegir la ubicación que les resulte más conveniente, independientemente de dónde vivan o asistan a la escuela.

Las comidas para llevar gratuitas ahora están disponibles de lunes a viernes en numerosos lugares para todos los estudiantes y jóvenes de 18 años o menos. No hay requisito de ingresos o necesidad de calificar. Los estudiantes no necesitan estar presentes para recibir una comida.

Tenga en cuenta que las reglas de distanciamiento social deben observarse en todo momento. El personal, los estudiantes y las familias que recojan las comidas deben mantener al menos 6 pies de distancia de cualquier persona que no sea miembro de su hogar inmediato.
