Parents, educators, community members and media are invited to an information night about social media, the internet, and youth safety.
Come for the inside scoop on how to protect your child, tween, or teen. Learn about the dangers of social media, as well as the reality of its uses in today’s world. Bring your smart phone, tablet or laptop!
This is a free event with presenters from the district attorney’s office, Springfield Police, a UO social media expert, and the 4J technology team about the reality of the online world for tweens and teens.
The event is organized by the Eugene Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation (ECASE) which includes Eugene School District 4J, Springfield Public Schools, Bethel School District and local agency partners.
