Celebrations at Howard Sept. 20 & 21, Roosevelt Sept. 27 & 29
Please join us — it’s time to celebrate!
Three years ago our community voted to support education. Voters approved the 2013 Eugene School District 4J bond measure to replace aging and inefficient school buildings and update materials for teaching and learning.
After more than a year of construction, Howard Elementary School’s 1949 building in the River Road neighborhood and Roosevelt Middle School’s 1950 facility in the South Eugene area have been replaced. Their students started school this fall in newly built light-filled, energy-efficient, state-of-the-art learning centers.
Now it’s time to celebrate and say thank you to the voters, community members and neighbors who made this possible.
