Eugene School District 4J superintendent Dr. Gustavo Balderas is inviting parents and the public to stop in to get to know him and to share their thoughts and questions about Eugene and its schools.
“Meet the Superintendent” drop-in conversations have been scheduled around the district in October, November and December. One session on November 12 will be conducted in Spanish. The sessions follow two initial conversations that were held in September.

Dr. Balderas became superintendent of Eugene School District 4J on July 1. Before the Eugene School Board selected him to lead the Eugene district, he served as a superintendent in two school districts in California, following 20 years as a teacher and educational administrator in Hillsboro, Oregon.
