School Board Election Ballots Mailed

Ballots due by May 19 at 8 p.m.

Ballots have been mailed to voters in the May 19 election, which includes four positions on the Eugene School District board of directors. To be counted, ballots must be received by the elections office no later than Tuesday, May 19, at 8 p.m.

The 4J school board is elected from the district at large, not from geographic regions. Registered voters who live within the Eugene School District may vote on all 4J board positions on the ballot.

Candidates:
Position 1: Alicia Hays (current board member)
Position 4: John A. Baumann, Scott Landgreen, Eileen Nittler
Position 5: Jim Torrey (current board member), David Nickles, Kevin C. Cronin
Position 7: Mary Walston (current board member), Colin Farnsworth

Those elected will begin their four-year terms on July 1, 2015. Director positions 2, 3 and 6 will be on the ballot in May 2017.
