School Board Invites Public Input on Long-Range Facilities Plan

Public hearing on Wednesday, January 23

Proposal: replace or renovate 3–4 school buildings in near future

The Eugene School Board invites public comment on a long-range plan to replace, renovate or remodel several school buildings over the next 10 years. The plan calls for the district to continue replacing older school buildings that are worn and costly to maintain with buildings that are more secure, energy efficient and better designed for teaching and learning today.

A public hearing will be held during the regular board meeting on Wed., January 23. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St., Eugene, and will be broadcast live on KRVM 1280-AM.
