Alissa Harkey

Hello Cowboys!

My name is Ali Harkey and I am so excited to be joining the Hickory Ridge family! This is my second year teaching, but it is my first year as a solo teacher! I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Children's Literature. My favorite part about being a teacher is helping the students be the best person they can be in and out of the classroom. 

I was born and raised in Stanly County and attended West Stanly High School (Go Colts!) but I am now a Cabarrus County resident, where I have been living since August of 2022 with my husband, Alex. I love to travel, take pictures and get crafty! 

I am looking forward to this school year and I know it will be the best yet!
