Mrs. Ollis

Hi! My name is Mrs. Tori Cole Ollis.  I was recently married, so you may have been told my name is Mrs. Cole, but I would love to be called by my new name: Mrs. Ollis!  I am very excited for my second year at Hickory Ridge!  I will be teaching third grade this year and taught fourth grade last year at Hickory Ridge.  I have also previously taught for twelve years in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in second, third, and fifth grade.  

I was born in Charlotte and have lived here my entire life.  I graduated from Erskine College in South Carolina with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish.  I'm married to my hubsand, Danny, and we have two golden retrievers named Luna and Piper.  We moved to Harrisburg last December.  

On a personal note, I love arts, crafting, and gaming.  I love playing Mario Brothers and Zelda.  I also quilt and paint.  I am an amateur illustrator and hope to work on illustrating children's books in the future.  I am an avid movie watcher and am a huge Star Wars and Avengers fan.  Finally, I love going antiquing and collecting classic children's books as well as salt and pepper shakers.  

I am looking forward to a fun year.  I can't wait to meet you and get to know you!
